My special guest is Karrie Garcia
Karrie Garcia is a woman who has experienced firsthand the journey from trauma to triumph. Growing up as a pastor’s kid, her home was far from pleasant. A troubled home and addiction mired her life in secrets and pain, pushing her to escape reality through drug use herself. Even when she found solace in serving as a minister, she acknowledges this too became an unhealthy dependency. However, through an encounter with God, she decided to invest in transparency with herself, God, and others. This brutal honesty led her into a life where she could coexist with her pains, joys, struggles and victories.
“A fully alive life is not arrival. It’s being able to be alive to all of your life and not eradicating or severing parts of you.” – Karrie Garcia
“Faith is not your ability to overcome. Faith is your ability to embrace what has happened and see God move in it.” – Karrie Garcia
“Faith is going. I don’t know the outcome fully God, but I am trusting that your presence will tend to me here, and I will hold to the fact that you have been faithful in the past, so you will be faithful to walk me through this valley.” – Karrie Garcia
