Roger Helland | Life When Pursuing God's Presence

Dr. Roger Helland is the Prayer Ambassador for The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. Previously he served as the district minister of the Baptist General Conference in Alberta.

He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and ACTS/Trinity Western University (DMin). With over 35 years of experience as a pastor, denominational leader and adjunct professor at several theological schools, his mission is to equip and empower missional, disciple-making leaders and churches.

His passion is for spiritual leadership and church renewal with a deep devotion to prayer and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4). He has written seven books including The Devout Life, Magnificent Surrender, Missional Spirituality and the recently released Pursuing God’s Presence (May 2023). He resides with his wife Gail near Calgary.
