Devotional Dippers | Andrew Sweasey

Andrew has been the Pastor of Christ Church Trumpington in Cambridge, UK since its inception in 2014.  He lives in Trumpington with his wife Helen and their four children.

Prior to training for church ministry Andrew worked as a chartered surveyor and project manager for a large construction consultancy firm.

Prior to Christ Church Trumpington starting, Andrew trained in ministry with Rock Baptist Church where he had been on the leadership team since 2010.

Andrew has a heart for sharing the good news of Jesus with people of all ages

He’s served as a school governor in two schools and in his spare time enjoys cycling, the occasional game of squash, kicking a ball around with his sons, watching sport, and settling down with a good biography whilst fending off the attentions of the family puppy!

The creator of devotional dippers, Andrew Sweasey joins Amber to share the story behind the unique family devotional and how it works for families with a variety of ages.

Christmas in July Questions:

  1. What are Devotional Dippers?
  2. Share a bit of the backstory of what led you to create Devotional Dippers?
  3. Something I love about Devotional Dippers is how it appeals to families with children of various ages.  As a pastor and father of 4, how have you experienced the use of a simple theme, Bible verse, 1 question to discuss and a prayer prompt to engage your family in the reading and understanding of God’s Word?
  4. What are the 3 main devotional dipper themes one can purchase and do you plan to create anymore?
